Cocoa Farm series
In the late 19th century, the humble cocoa bean found its way to the fertile soils of western Nigeria, carried by the hands of missionaries and colonial agricultural pioneers. In Ondo State, it took root, weaving itself into the landscape and the lives of its people. Through the lens, we capture more than just the farm it is the rhythm of the land, the textures of leaves and pods, and the quiet dignity of those who nurture it. Each image tells a story of heritage, labour, and the enduring connection between nature and human endeavour, revealing cocoa not just as a crop, but as a living chapter in the cultural and economic tapestry of Ondo.
